How to Lose Your Lady

She walked just like a donkey and smiled just like a horse
Her underarms were smelly and her hair was rather coarse
When she caught me with my baby, she filed for a divorce
I couldn’t tell the lady, she’d took my heart with force
But deep inside honey, I felt nothing but remorse
She ignored me of course

In the month of May, she found another man
And every single day, he does everything he can
My heart is on a tray and my soul is in the pan
But when I saw her face, I just turned around and ran
All about the place, the shit hit the fan
Time for another plan

(Cont.)

I walked up to her home to see her sitting there
Seemingly alone sunk into a big armchair
Fiddling with a come trying to straighten out her hair
My mind began to roam; it was more than I could bear
I felt so all alone, she don’t even care
This is the end, I declare

Must The Show Go On?

Rode off this morning in a big yellow bus
Spent my day listening to petty fuss
And I wonder “must the show go on?”

Struggled again to make the best of it
But it seems to me it’s all a bottomless pit
And I wonder “must the show go on?”

No need to ask what it’s all for,
Deep inside no one is poor
Why try and explain the way things are
Cause no one’s managed to so far

Tossed and turned, at night I’m so restless
Trudging through slumber with an iron fist
And I wonder “must the show go on?”

Must The Show Go On?

Bombs on Iraq

Woke up this morning with a score to settle
With someone who caused me no harm
Thought to myself where might I meddle
Where to impose my arm
I’ll accuse of having too much power
And threatening my authority
And now has come the anticipated hour
Of my supremacy

Drop the bombs on Iraq
Say what you will say
Drop the bombs on every shack
God bless the USA

Take 'em out and hold no quarter
To all who may resist
Spare the oil, but fire the mortar
This war, we shall not desist
They had it coming to them all along
With their destructive weapons
Who cares if we were wrong?
Stuff like this happens

Keep Pushing Away

Our pasts are filled with mistakes
Our pasts are filled with heartaches
Leave it all behind
In the back of your mind
Cause it’s time to move on

The things you’ve done, you cannot take back
The things you’ve done fade to black
Dispose of the thoughts
And brush away the onslaughts
You know you’d love to
But it’s bigger than you

Keep pushing away
But it won’t help
Keep pushing away
But it pulls you in

Rid yourself of forlorn memories
Rid yourself of ill fated stories
Lock them away with a key
And don’t give in to a single plea
They just keep coming back

Tossed Aside Together

Cutting like a silver bullet
In the flesh of mortal man
There will be a sudden silence
Spreading ‘cross the barren land
But you won't hear me

In the eyes of all the children
Screaming, laughing, hard at play
You can sense the fear progressing
A little greater every day
But you won't see me

Lost here forever
Tossed aside together

When the wind will blow again
And I can feel the shady gloom
Sitting here too tired to walk
In this somber little room
And you won't feel me
